Internationally-recognized translation services provider promotes two project management professionals.

World Translation Center, one of the world’s leading translation services companies, announced today the promotion of Monica Garcia-Salamon and Uta J. Nelson to Vice President, Project Management. Each will continue to manage client projects and, in addition, will assume responsibility for the supervision of the Company’s regional project managers located around the world. Both will be based in the Company’s home office in Atlanta, Georgia.

Monica Garcia-Salamon is originally from León, Spain, though she was raised and lived most of her life in the Canary Islands. She holds a degree in English Philology, Linguistics and Methodology from Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and a teaching certificate from Universidad de Salamanca. She has over seven years experience in the translation services industry as a project manager. Monica continues to streamline the process of software translation for many languages. Her acquired expertise and industry knowledge is playing a crucial role in growing the Company’s IT translation business worldwide.

Uta J. Nelson is originally from Switzerland. She is a graduate of University of St. Gallen, Switzerland with a degree in Business Administration and Economics with a concentration in finance and accounting. She also holds a paralegal certification from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia. She too has over seven years experience as a project manager. Uta has been responsible for growing the financial, medical and pharmaceutical division of World Translation Center. She has developed complex, individual document and management solutions for clients in the financial and healthcare markets.
